This is the second year that Cabana Sky towel company has collaborated with Baja Angels of the Sea organization in Salina Beach, Baja California.

Cabana Sky, a women owned startup company began the journey of a long relationship between two close family friends Bruno Barbieri and Vica Gafur for over 30 years.

While Vica was in Turkey seeing the cotton field with the weaving artisans, she received a surprise phone call from Bruno; and he invited Vica to support and bring her Turkish towels with Baja Angels embroidery to the first event in August 2023, but at that time Vica did not have an opportunity to show the Turkish towels, so she was volunteering to bake croissants in the kitchen for around 80 orphans. 

This year Vica is ready with Cabana Sky multi-purpose Turkish towels and the Gift sets for the upcoming celebration to support  Bruno in his mission to empower orphanage children and women in shelters which are aligned with Vica. As a result, we together create Sewing program for women in shelters with the support of talented tailor Rosa Martinez. Each sewing student has an opportunity to show her work to the next event.

Every purchase for Cabana Sky towel or Gift Set, contributes 15% to Baja Angels of the Sea for women programs and orphanages.
